Summary: Great location right downtown. Very quiet and restful. Easy walking distance to a moderate hiking area at Climax Canyon. Very good service, very clean, secure. Amazing breakfast.

Summary: Nice but short! Wish we could have enjoyed the breakfast but we had to get on the road. The hosts did put some things in the frig for us to take which was very thoughtful. Home is lovely and the hosts were warm, welcoming and helpful!! Thank you!!

Summary: Calling yourself a bed and breakfast promises 2 things-a place to sleep and breakfast. On the first item Hearts Desire came through. They provided a bed. On the second, they failed miserably. The listing and messages talk about the hours when breakfast is served. No hot breakfast was served. We saw no staff. They left packaged cereal bars and instant oatmeal. The type of breakfast you could get at 7-11. Don’t stay here and expect a true B&B experience.

Summary: This is a great place to stay. We stayed 2 nights there. The room was very clean and comfortable. It is very quiet, I slept very well. The breakfast was excellent on both days. The biscuits and gravy on sunday morning was fantastic! The owners are very friendly and cool people. If you are going to be in the Raton area, this is the place to stay. I am looking forward to going there again.

Summary: Overall very good, would stay again. Only rated staff and service a bit lower because there was no staff on property for much of our stay. When there, all was very good. Guests should understand this is an historic property and should not be compared with modern construction. Location is outstanding as well.
