Positive: Pension/corridors/rooms were very clean. Apartmens are location ten minutes drive by car to parking in Hallstatt or fifteen minutes walk to lake in Obertraun. Breakfast was very good, rolls were fresh, everthings was enough for us. Mark is fantastic host, friendly and helpful.

Positive: This was one of the best places I have ever stayed in. Everything exceeded my expectations. Frank is a wonderful host who was always ready to help and made us feel at home. The room was spacious and impeccably clean. I really enjoyed the breakfast, which offered plenty of options to keep us satisfied, and the coffee was fantastic. I would absolutely stay here again.

Positive: Everything about our stay at Haus Salzkammergut was perfect! The hosts Mark and Jane are wonderful. They were available to help with anything we needed during our stay. We were able to check in slightly earlier with no hassle and they provided us with beach towels for a chilly swim in the lake. They also gave us with plenty of local tips and recommendations and even some extra tips for our continuing travels. The rooms are very comfortable and have everything you need for a great stay. The wifi works well. Breakfast was delicious and the dining room has spectacular lake views. We found Obertraun to be a great base for exploring Hallstat as it was much quieter but very easy to get the Navia flatboat ferry across the lake for a day trip. This has been our favourite stay of our Europe trip and we can 100% recommend it to anyone considering staying.

Positive: This was one of the best places we have stayed .The room was comfortable ,very clean and the most awesome view of the lake and the mountains The breakfast was delicious and plenty of it with lovely homemade muffins made by Jayne There was so much to do and they were great at advising us on things to do What made it for us was the kindness and warmth from Jane and Mark who did so much to make us feel welcome Would definitely recommend this beautiful place to anyone Thanks both keep doing what you do and don't change anything Dawn and Joe
