Positive: We LOVED the cottage itself, the layout and thoughtfulness that has gone into everything. We also really love the quiet location with beautiful walks right on your doorstep. The underfloor heating and fireplace make it super comfy.

Negative: Perhaps a bit more interaction with the owners could have been a nice touch. They were very informative and communicated very well with us. A welcome pack could have been nice too, but these are little things which we didn’t expect or require to have a beautiful time!

Positive: The bothy was cosy and comfortable and everything we had hoped for. The stormy weather added to the pleasure of sitting in front of the log burner and watching old Christmas movies! Our hosts Harry and Louise were very pleasant and helpful and went the extra mile by providing logs on our first night with Harry cutting them up during a bad storm. A big thank you for that! The tranquility and beautiful scenery completed our weekend.

Positive: Cosy and comfortable nice log burner. Shower was excellent. Kitchen well equipped and the scenery was lovely. Oh and we were entertained by Barry the dog 🐕

Negative: Outside needs a bit of tlc but we couldn't get to use it because of the rainy weather anyway.

Positive: On arriving we were greeted by Louise who showed us around and was very warm and friendly. The accommodation was exceptionally clean and cosy it felt like a home from home. The kitchen was well equipped and the bed super comfy. The views from the bothy are fantastic and the location was perfect for our two night stay. Would of loved to of tried the outside Bath but the weather wasn't on our side. We really didn't want to leave, we would definitely recommend for a couple who are looking for a quiet retreat in the country and will definitely be looking to stay again soon.

Negative: I can't really think of any faults at all apart from it was far to cosy and we didn't want to leave haha. Perfect for us.
