Positive: No free breakfast and it wasn’t worth paying $15 for. Location was good but I would expect to pay less for no view.
Negative: Rooms were dirty; hallways not vacuumed; air conditioners look like they are falling out the window; cost of rooms were too high for the experience. I understand there are renovations happening but cost should be lower due to this.

Positive: The hotel staff were nice and helpful, the bed was comfortable.
Negative: Under renovation, so the lobby area was quite unappealing and dusty. Parkade had garbage everywhere scattered on the ground, along with a pile of old furniture. Carpets dirty In the hallways, covered in hair and stains. AC worked on and off but not consistently. Lamp shade beside the bed did not work. Sink faucet had pressure issues.
Summary: Nice staff, decent breakfeast, comfortable bed, but many basic standards were not met.

Positive: It was a nice 2 minute walk to the lake and small little market with lots of options to dine in or take out
Negative: Days prior to my arrival I’ve confirmed with the location if the room will have a stove or kitchen to cook meals. Which a lady had confirmed this so when we got to the room there was nothing but a coffee maker & microwave and I had a cooler full of food which I had to throw away due to being past 2 days now.
Summary: Overall all the miscommunications prior to the stay, supervisor did his best to make our stay a little more enjoyable

Negative: Carpet is very shabby. Toilet is very low and using the shower was difficult- deep tub, hard to access, no grab bars to help
