Positive: The owner & his sisters cooking are what makes this accommodation worthwhile. I would say it would appeal to backpackers who need the basics after a days tough hiking.

Negative: Unfortunately and with no blame to the owner my stay was disturbed by a close by temple celebration of loud music and partying till 4am so I had little to no sleep.

Positive: The owners were very kind and prepared a lovely meal for us. The accomodation is very basic and simple but conveniently located for the start of stage 9 of the Peekoe trail.

Positive: Our stay at Haritha Kanda Rest was just perfect. The accommodation was basic but adequate, the food prepared by his sister was delicious and plentiful, both dinner and breakfast. Our host kindly ordered some beers for us in the evening and a t’il yuk for our luggage the next day. He was friendly and very helpful. The guesthouse is extremely well situated. All five of us loved it.
