Located in the charming village of Bodham, Hare Cottage is a spectacular modern traditional brick and flint detached property, offering contemporary and stylish accommodation for six guests. Situated a three minute drive from the Georgian town of Holt, this hideaway is also within easy each of the exciting coastal towns of Cromer and Sheringham, plus many other North Norfolk attractions .
Entered via an impressive arched porch, Hare Cottage welcomes guests in to calming holiday haven. Featuring high ceilings and hard wooden floors throughout, the ground floor is stylish and relaxing. The spacious dual aspect sitting room offers ample sumptuous seating appointed around a coffee table and Smart television, making it the perfect place to nestle in to watch a film after a day well-spent in the great outdoors. On warmer days, open the french doors to invite the outdoors in. The well-equipped modern kitchen hosts an induction hob and twin electric ovens, and provides everything guests might need. With plenty of worktop space, guests will be able to rustle up a delicious meal made using an abundance of local produce that the area is famed for. When it comes to entertaining, the adjoining dining room makes the perfect stage, offering seating for up to six guests around a good-sized table with french doors leading out to the garden. A downstairs WC completes this floor.
Upstairs on the first floor, three beautifully styled bedrooms have been caringly curated using feather pillows and duvets dressed in soft linens. Complimented with muted colours, these bedrooms invite a comfortable and delightful sleep. The master bedroom hosts a double bed and is served by an en-suite shower room, with walk-in shower and heated towel rail. A double bed is provided by bedroom two, with bedroom three boasting full size bunk beds. These rooms are served by a contemporary family bathroom offering bath with shower over.
Outside, the fully enclosed gravel garden makes a safe place for dogs and children to play. The south-facing aspect means this garden is a great sun trap. Gather around the seating provided on the patio, and enjoy al fresco dining from the charcoal barbecue. Off-road parking for two cars is available at Hare Cottage.

Summary: We were very impressed with the condition of the property It is situated in a area of Norfolk which makes exploring the countryside and seaside an easy trip which with a nine year old granddaughter ideal

Summary: We have used Norfolk Hideaways several times, the property was immaculate, as always, Christmas in Norfolk. Lovely house, well equipped & quiet location. Bodham village midway between Holt & sherringham so plenty of choice for shops & local amenities.

Summary: What a lovely cottage with good furnishings and all amenities required. Great location and area with local pub a short walk down the road. Close to the coast with great choice of places to visit. Would definitely book for a return trip.

Summary: My parents stayed at Hare Cottage for a week. Perfect for them. I joined them for 2 days and loved the house. Lounge comfy, showers great. Everything you need, quiet residential area. Ease of access to coast. Only query: why is bedroom 3 window opaque? We were mystified!

Summary: Hare Cottage well presented, nice quiet location and very dog friendly. Garden totally safe for our beagle Settee very comfortable and very enjoyable relaxing holiday . We love Norfolk and will be back.

Summary: Cottage was not very clean downstairs on arrival, we cleaned it, several issues in cottage shown below. Broken bedroom window frame would not close or lock which we reported and nothing was done about it, broken blind and toilet flush. For a fairly new property we found parts in a poor state. Very strong smell of canabis in location which leaves an awful smell wafting in to house. Best part about location is it’s near weybourne and holt. Unfortunately we would not return.

Summary: Very comfortable and well equipped cottage. My daughter is allergic to feathers, so had a problem with the bedding. Pity that Bodham has no shop. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Summary: Beautiful property with super comfy beds, brilliantly kitted out kitchen, lots of games and books too. Located next to a farm track and play area so great for walking the dogs. Easy to get to Holt for shops, restaurants and cafes, and Sheringham for the beach.

Summary: Hare Cottage is a modern 3 bed detached property on a small/quiet and fairly new estate. Walking distance to a pub with another excellent country pub about 5 mins drive. The house is nicely decorated and very bright. The garden is enclosed and good for a dog although there is no lawn, it's gravel and paving slabs. There is easy parking for two cars on the driveway. We had an enjoyable stay for a week and the property has pretty much everything you need. The kitchen is well kitted out although the dishwasher was not working when we stayed. The internet is super fast and the tv has Netflix, Amazon Prime etc. We stayed in June and the bedrooms do get very warm, so I would advise taking a fan. There are double beds in the two of the bedrooms, it would be nice to have king size beds which is kind of the 'norm' these days. The en-suite is very small and the shower is cramped with the access door to the side of the toilet. There is no shelf in the shower for shower gel, shampoo etc. which is a bit annoying. One thing to check on if you have a dog. Upon arrival we saw a sign to say 'no dogs upstairs please' We had not been made aware of this before arrival and it was virtually impossible to enforce. There isn't a dog gate at the bottom of the stairs so I cant's see how many dog owners will stop their dog from going upstairs. I have brought this to the attention of Norfolk Hideaways. They said they will discuss this with the owner and update their website listing if necessary.

Summary: We had a wonderful stay with our Springer at Hare cottage, it was a great location for us to be able to visit family in Norfolk that we hadn't been able to see for a year and to visit all the beautiful beaches nearby. We would definitely stay again.
