Positive: Hare Cottage was fantastic. Really comfortable bed. The food basket on arrival was a lovely touch. Cosy and homely. Beautiful, atmospheric location.

Negative: It did say in the welcome pack that the first batch of wood for the burner was provided. It wasn’t so we bought our own as it was a little chilly in the evenings. It was early September so perhaps it’s only provided in the winter months but thought I’d mention it in case the pack needed updating.

Summary: A really well appointed house in an incredible location. Helpful, friendly hosts.

Positive: Loved the welcome hamper - the bread was delicious! Enjoyed that it's just a lock box to collect the key - super easy!

Negative: There wasn't anything that we didn't like! Only one thing could have made our stay a little easier - a small fenced area outside so we could let our dog out for a quick toilet break. But this was not a deal breaker at all! The cottage has land which you can walk your dog round (on a lead due to wildlife) which was great for an early morning stretch of legs!

Summary: Gorgeous cottage with fantastic views! Very clean and well equipped! Great location too!

Positive: Hare Cottage is a little gem, with the most wonderful views that can be seen from the exterior of the property. Inside the attention to detail is second to none. The decor is clever & so tastefully done with an appropriate theme 'of all things Hares!!) we loved it.... The welcome breakfast box was a lovely touch. Everything was there to enhance & make our stay so special. Dogs are welcome, a big plus for us...thought the doggie path mowed through the meadowland on the property by the owners was so thoughtful... Would definitely recommend 👌
