Positive: Overall a fabulous space for a large group of people in a delightful rural location. A warm and welcoming property with plenty of bedrooms, bathrooms and spaces to socialise inside and outside. The photos and descriptions in the listing are an accurate representation of the property but, if anything, it is even better in reality. Sean was an exceptionally responsive and friendly host. The welcome pack of beer wine and biscuits was most appreciated! Good walks from the front door and in the local area but the house has so many different areas (conservatory, lounges snugs, games room, gym etc) that even in poor weather there's always space to enjoy.

Negative: Not quite enough fridge space. The kitchen fridge is small for the number of people. There is an extra fridge in the boot-room, but by the time you've got food and drink for 12 people everything is a bit cramped. It would be useful if the en-suites with only a bath had a shower attachment fitted.

Summary: A fabulous property for larger get-togethers in a delightful rural location.

Positive: Lovely property in beautiful surroundings. Worked so well for our group. Great to have a gym, hot tub and games room. Conservatory was amazing for the evening.

Negative: Some bathrooms could be updated a little. Something was leaking in the utility room.

Positive: Beautiful house Really well equipped kitchen Very spacious Very generous with supply of milk, tea, coffee, wine and keg!

Negative: The single beds are very narrow so if you are tall/larger build then you’d be best in a double room. In one room the headboard is against a light switch so if you move a lot it turns the lights on. Was easily rectified by moving bed away from wall

Positive: The photos do not do this house justice, the property is stunning. Unbelievably spacious, comfortable and well equipped. Perfect for bringing families together. The ice machine was a big hit!! The host responded to questions, prior to and during our stay, promptly. We would definitely book again.

Negative: It was all very good, maybe the second fridge in the boot room could be a little bigger! Which is really not that much of an issue is it!!

Positive: Hardwick Lodge is an absolutely stunning property in a perfect peaceful location for a wholesome girls trip! Key collection was easy with a key code provided in advance. Pictures really don't do the house justice! Lots of entertainment spaces for large groups to be able to be together!

Negative: If I had to say one thing (and it is very minor as we just about managed) I would say more fridge space would be helpful if staying for longer than a 2 night stay.

Summary: a fabulous weekend in a stunning countryside property!
