Positive: Perfectly placed. Great design, the rooms are so beautifully mixed with the old world and new. Pristine clean the staff were so pleasant and helpful. The views from the fountain outside are spectacular! Awake at sunrise if you are able, thank me later!

Negative: I didn’t like that I couldn’t spend more time there

Positive: Everyone was so friendly and helpful. The wine and cheese happy hour and cookies and milk at night was a nice touch. The one elevator was very slow, but I hear they are replacing it soon.

Positive: It was close to everything we wanted to see and do. Walking distance to the Market Place, Rainbow Row, magnificent restaurants. Wine and cheese time. And cookies and milk time. Complimentary breakfast served to your room.

Positive: Breakfast was great. The evening wine and cheese was a nice and unexpected touch. The employees were all pleasant, helpful, and looked like they enjoyed working there. The room was comfortable and spacious.

Negative: The heater fan was loud. It was especially annoying because it was cool in Charleston during our visit and the heat was on at night. When other guests left or entered their rooms, the doors tended to close heavily. Not much of an issue unless it was early in the morning or late at night. Across the street, another hotel is nearing completion, which will eliminate much of the view in from the Harbourview. Not the hotel's fault, but could be an issue for some.

Summary: Pleasant, but a little pricey. But we'd stay again.
