Positive: Comfy beds and lovely bed linen. Helpful staff. Central location. Nearby parking

Negative: We know we had to pay extra for the spa but we didn’t know that we would have trouble booking just getting into the spa - infact it was fully booked so we never got to use it which was disappointing as that was one of the reasons we booked the hotel. The shower in the room was also too small for a hotel of this quality

Positive: I booked 2 rooms at this hotel, i know the chain well as i regularly visit the hotel in Cornwall and Sidmouth. We had a business meeting, room was very clean, nice big bed, bonus our rooms had baths which is nice after a long drive. Only negative, the car park is very tight and was completely full so had to park elsewhere.

Negative: check in staff were not that friendly, but only dealings were on check in so cannot comment anymore really.

Positive: It was the perfect location for our visit to Guildford. We were met by Nel in the bar area who was very welcoming, made sure we had a comfortable seat and looked after us really well. She went out of her way to attend to us and was warm and friendly and extremely efficient.

Positive: The room was excellent except it was extremely noisy if you left the window open. Apart from that we couldn't fault it, the bed was very comfortable, facilities great. Bathroom was perfect apart from lack of towels. We ate in the restaurant which was really good food. We had a spa treatment each, A big thank you to Katie who gave me a massage sorry my husband forgot the name of his beautician. Great location near the high street. We did use the spa which was good,

Negative: I can't say that we didn't like anything, unfortunately I was unwell with the dreaded cold/cough so we couldn't make use of the evening

Positive: We were in a freshly renovated room which had a good size bathroom complete with bath tub and a separate shower cubicle. Breakfast was good with selection of nice pastries and hot choices too.

Negative: The bed was unusually high, so not at a comfortable height to sit on. Bacon at breakfast could have been better quality.
