Summary: We enjoyed an overnight stay in this lovely Inn, with its beautiful decor, clean and cozy room, and comfortable bed. The continental breakfast gave us the chance to spend time with John, the owner, and the other guests—a friendly and fun experience. Wish we could have stayed longer, to spend time relaxing on the front porch and take another walk along the harbor, just across the street, with its astonishing display of thousands of blooming dahlias.

Summary: This is a very special property. Quaint, right on the water, owned and operated by John Orlando and wife. He is a very interesting host, lifetime resident and interesting to get to know. I highly recommend a stay here. Room was just right.

Summary: I booked an overnight stay for my mom and I as a Christmas gift for her, as she had never traveled to Gloucester. We planned a trip to hunt for seaglass and wanted to stay close to Pavilion Beach. SO glad we decided to stay here! John is very warm, welcoming, and conversational. He made us feel at home right away, and even carried my mom's overnight bag upstairs to our room. We stayed in the Manchester room, which had a beautiful view of the beach across the street. The bathroom was super tiny but very clean and we slept very well in the comfy bed. They had a little welcome basket with snacks & bottled water in our room waiting for us, and cookies in the common room downstairs. The next morning before checkout we spent an hour or so in the common room, enjoyed a slice of walnut coffee cake, coffee & orange juice; chatted with John about the property and played with Skipper, his adorable dog. Cannot say enough good things about this place & would recommend to all our family & friends!
