Only two condo buildings, makes this a very private area. A fabulous restaurant with inside/ outside dining, allows for drinks or meals served poolside! (due to the hurricane this is not open, as it is under Repair )A boat ride, right from the pool, takes you to Palm Island.! A real 'vacation' luxury! Full kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, toaster, coffeemaker, blender etc. Gas grill available for meals on the waterfront lanai Washer/ dryer. Linens and towels supplied. Cable T.V. VCR, DVD, wi-fi, stereo, included. Beautiful sandy beaches, just minutes away.…3 miles to Boca Grande. Cape Haze, Venice and Sarasota min. away. 'Turnkey' and enjoy! Hidden paridise!: This is an area in Florida that is away from it all. You are close to beaches and restaurants, but away from the hustle and bustle of Florida, and the traffic. This is a very tranquil setting, and a wonderful place to rest and relax. I had only been to Florida a few times, but when I first visited this area, I fell in love with it, and ended up with my own little slice of heaven. The weather is fantastic with the breeze from the water, the people are very friendly and the quiet location is a welcome retreat. A perfect place to 'recharge' your batteries! Everything is so close, it makes it easy to get around. The beaches are fantastic and the boat activity from the lanai is really interesting to watch. Everything is there, awaiting your arrival. Just pack, and 'turn the key' to your next vacation. I will have the condo ready and waiting. Also close to Sarasota, Venice, Boca Grande and Punta Gorda.
Things To Do!: Get up and have breakfast in the morning sun on the lanai, grab your favorite book and sit in the sun, or shade on the lanai and read, go for a swim in the pool or use the hot tub, change and take a boat ride from the pool to Rum Bay Restaurant, Have lunch, dinner or just a drink and snacks, and then take the boat back to the condo, have drinks and appetizers on the lanai, watching the harbor activity, or grill your dinner outside, or have dinner at Johnny Leverocks, which is only a few steps away, (this is not available now due to the hurricane it is under construction )right by the pool and have your evening meal outside! (great food) Beautiful scenery! Very few people!!!!! All this without getting in your car. How nice is that!!
You can also do the ordinary things, golf, play tennis, shop, go to other beaches, explore of the many restaurants, or go to one of the neighboring towns. Boca Grande is a wonderful little village! Beautiful homes! Englewood is a fun place to wander through the village and stop to grab a bite.

Summary: Nice condo with most everything you would need. Beautiful views and location close to restaurants and Beach. Did use ferry to get to Beach which was easy for us. Pool was not open for us, but looks like a nice place to spend time in the sun.

Summary: The perfect get a way for my husband and I. We loved the private pool area and the boat taxi was a daily jaunt to the beach. Everyone was super nice. We ate at Isabella's twice and the food was wonderful. We look forward to coming back.

Summary: One bedroom condo at pet friendly complex. While it was on the second floor it was 3 flights upstairs which was a challenge in the July heat. Lovely view and comfortable bedding. Lorna was very accommodating. Nice to have access to the resort on Palm Island and complimentary Rum Bay water taxi.

Summary: We were scheduled for just short of a two week stay. From the first day the two TVs & cable were an issue. TV in bedroom had nothing but snow and living room TV had only three very fuzzy local channels. The owner was available by phone/text ONLY and had no one local who could explain how the system worked. The owner and I talked to the cable company at length with no solution and (after one week of our vacation) I spent better part of one day waiting for the cable co guy only to find out the problem was that one of the remotes was in the wrong room and just generally needed some clear instructions on how the whole system worked. Some well worded instructions & remotes labeled properly would have helped immensely. The area was very nice....the condo was only adequate, but not what we expected for the price. Because of all the aggravation as well as a family emergency we actually left the property four days early. Due to the difficulties the owner verbally agreed to a partial refund, but then after we arrived home the owner accused us of lying and to date has refunded nothing. Stay away from this property..... We would have been money & aggravation ahead staying in a nice local motel or hotel.

Summary: Nice one bedroom second floor, great views, as advertised. Great comm from the host. Cute location with heated pool and hot tub, small community very quiet and safe. Dishwasher a nice plus. Bed very comfy. Furniture generally newer and unit nicely decorated, screened balcony a bonus too. Useful supply of kitchen utensils. Water taxi to island was a nice side trip we made several times. Good biking and things to do in the area, couple of places to walk to for dinner/snacks.. Only the basic cable TV.

Summary: This is a great spot for a couple. Nice porch to sit and watch the boats. It faces north so the porch is never in the sun which is great. Comfy new love seat and chair, nice dining area and the kitchen had everything you need. Fresh flowers were very nice. Beach blankets, beach umbrella, and other thoughtful touches. A nice peaceful week away from the hustle and bustle of the beach areas to the north.
