Positive: This is an excellent guest house to escape + chill out. It’s literally at the end of the road from Sanyang (5 mins by car). A collection of rooms framed around the bar/dining room on its own secluded bit of beach. Friendly dogs, a beautiful cat, cows on tje beach + chickens wandering around. Bickeray runs the place to create a warm efficient, laid back vibe for you to enjoy. Don’t come here expecting Hotel airs + graces. This is a rustic beach bungalow like set up - come here to relax, unplug + find yourself in nature. It’s ace.

Positive: The property has a natural look/ design - which I loved - simple but with everything you need. The bed was especially comfortable. And we were right on the beach so slept to the sound of the sea and woke up to drink our morning coffee looking out to the sea. Really comfy beach beds and great service for food and drinks. The staff so friendly and welcoming - a great atmosphere- peaceful, spacious, tranquil. You can walk along the beach to other bars or restaurants with a much more hectic vibe- it always felt like a blessing to return to Happy Corner. We felt very lucky to have found such a place- a slice of paradise!
