Positive: I spent my first four days in Gambia with Helen and Oliver at Tendinkoto Lodge. Oliver picked me up from the airport, greeted me with a cold bottle of water, and took care of buying a SIM card and exchanging money. The Tendinkoto Lodge is very spacious and, with its many trees, resembles a park. The generous breakfast and excellent dinner were enjoyed at a table with other friendly guests. This led to some very interesting and entertaining conversations, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Not to mention the lodge's fantastic amenities, such as, very good beds with superb mattresses and high-quality bed linen and towels + fast internet, the lovely pool, and the warm hospitality. With Helen and Oliver, I felt like I was visiting good friends. For independent travelers in Gambia, it is possibly one of the best places to stay. I hope to return soon.

Positive: The on-site restaurant exceeded my expectations. Every meal was freshly prepared with local ingredients, and the flavors were simply outstanding! Whether it was breakfast, lunch, or dinner, the quality and presentation were top-notch. Oliver and Helen are lovely hosts and staff is also superb friendly. My gf and me booked for two nights, but liked it so much, that we stayed 6 nights longer. Best lodge in Sanyang, for sure!

Positive: We had an incredible stay! Helen, Oliver and their staff couldn't do enough for us and were excellent company. The room was perfect with a large bathroom. Very comfortable and big bed, fridge, tea and coffee making facilities in the room and a lovely patio to relax. We enjoyed the communal banterbar, where we had some interesting meal times with excellent food, made by both Helen and Oliver. It was also great to have the use of 2 decent bikes during our stay We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Tendinkoto and will hopefully visit the lodge again. Thank you to all.

Positive: This place is really a dream for having a wonderfull Gambia experience. Oliver and Helen are such incredible hosts and beautifull persons. The compund is guiet with beautyful lodges, garden and swimmingpool. Helen is the best Gambian cook !! The bed was perfect and all was so clean and great ! We love the breakfast and dinner and it felt like we were eating in a first class restaurant. We would love to come back and we highly recommend this beautiful place !

Positive: You feel immediately at home. The owner Oliver and Helen are great hosts, the kindest people who serve amazing food. We are birdlovers and you can see a lot of species in their garden. They have two bikes that you can use to discover the small town and cycle to the beach. We slept like a baby.
