Positive: An amazing place, full of soul and nature Staying at Hanuman Heights was a truly special experience. The room was very clean, comfortable, and beautifully designed. What makes this place unique is that Lilly and Babi built everything themselves with so much care and passion, and you can really feel it in every detail. The location is perfect. Surrounded by lush nature, calm and peaceful, it feels like being in a little bubble away from the world while still being close to the beach and the center of Unuwatuna. Lilly and Babi are incredibly kind and welcoming hosts. Their positive energy and love for this place make the stay even more memorable. A magical place, warm hosts, and a deep feeling of connection with nature. I would absolutely come back and highly recommend Hanuman Heights. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Positive: The dormitories are lovely, very spacious and with your own double bed and mosquito net and plenty of privacy. The communal space is beautiful, and the owners are very hospitable and accommodating

Positive: Beautiful and quiet location, but still in walkable distance off the busy streets of Sri Lanka. Rooms are very spatious and well maintained. Staff is very friendly and helpful with anything you might need

Positive: Lovely lounges to hangout together. Sometimes it was hard to leave the hostel beacause it is so comfy and the staff is super friendly. Great yoga, breakfast and connections. Feeling the jungle-energy to slow down a bit away from all the chaos of busy streets & beaches.

Positive: Great hostel! The place opened just a few months ago. It's run by Lily and Bhabi who are backpackers too - and it shows. There's a lot of little details like nice airy bathrooms, enough shelves to put your stuff, little artworks on the walls and many places to simply chill. It's a leisurely 15-minute-stroll to either Unawatuna Beach or Jungle Beach, but my favorite was the place's own jungle setting with an amzing variety of animals to watch at all times of day.

Negative: The place desperately needs lockers where travellers can use their own padlock to store valuables. Also, as another review mentioned, one bathroom has its lock on the outside, which is rather useless 🤪 But that's just small things, overall it was great and I totally recommend it!
