Positive: By far the most delicious meal we have had in Europe. The grilled vegetables and fried cheese were full of flavor. The hosts were super lovely and the room very comfortable. We highly recommend Hanul Ancutei. These weary Australians loved it :-)

Positive: Sparkling clean building, nice room. We didnt meet anyone, even the restaurant was closed but once we called we got the instructions how to get inside. As we came late almost everything was closed so we made our own dinner behind the restaurant as there were tables. Very calm area. You can get nice breakfast at the restaurant.

Negative: The bathroom can be a challenge for taller people, we were fine.

Positive: Typical motel on the road. It does its job for a low price. A big advantage is air conditioners in the rooms. Downstairs there is a great restaurant with delicious food prepared on a real grill over a fire. I highly recommend

Negative: The bathrooms have sloping walls, it is difficult to get to the toilet and you have to watch your head.
