Positive: The Staff. Havva, Esma, Robert and grandson (I’m so sorry I don’t remember you name 🫣) travelling solo can be a little lonely at times and I had the most wonderful experience in your property. I was welcomed by Esma. She invited me into their families area and made me a coffee and a chilled glass of water. I later saw Esma walking into the village after her shift and she waved and blew me a kiss 🥹 Havva and her grandson made sure all of my needs were met. I had a beautiful dinner of roasted potatoes, chicken and fargese(I think that is what it is called) I fell asleep to crickets and had the best sleep. I was welcomed in the morning for a wonderful generous breakfast of home made jam, butter, bread and eggs. AND the most wholesome and revitalising hand blended tea. As I was leaving the family once again invited me to have coffee with them before I left. Robert expressed his pride and passion for their business and welcomed me back next year . With real sincerity I was welcomed from the start to being hugged and kissed on my departure. If I wasn’t going to the airport to fly home I would have stayed longer

Positive: The whole family loved the really spacious pool, the totally quiet rural surroundings, the very nice host and the great dinner. Close to Berat. Highly recommended.

Positive: It was a lovely and memorable 2 night stay in this family run retreat! What was special was the new large swimming pool, surrounded by mountains, and it's a half hour walk through rural Berat to the village which has a small shop, fast food and modest bar terrace. The family did a lot to make our stay as comfortable as possible, which gave it a more personal experience than hotels. In particular, I got a kettle and teabags to have in my room which I really appreciated for the evenings. We arranged to be driven into Berat and to return at good prices. They even drove us to Kruje saving us an awkward very long bus journey! The place is a homestead that is spacious throughout. Chickens roam, and it's mostly very quiet. Wifi is good inside and out. We had a special time here in nature and enjoyed Berat in the late afternoon/eve when it cooled down a bit. Very good value and a unique experience.

Negative: I think this place is ideal for 2 nights or perhaps more if you have a car. Without a car, there are no options to eat in the evening except there. The food was good, though it's a fixed menu (a large meal!) rather than choosing off a menu according to appetite and mood. Shame no fresh juice option at breakfast. The grandson speaks good English but not always around.

Summary: A pool surrounded by mountains, a good choice for Berat.

Positive: Beautiful location - great space around a lovely pool with views of surrounding mountains. Good, clean rooms with AC. Delicious breakfast! Most importantly the whole family are such incredible hosts. They welcome you to the hotel with such warmth and helped us with everything we could have needed. Patrice, the young man of the family was friendly, fun and did an amazing job helping us communicate with our hosts!

Positive: Amazing family hotel! An absolute hidden gem surrounded by mountains, with a huge pool only a 10 minute drive to Berat. The family were so lovely and welcoming! Made us feel like part of the family. Great price! Gorgeous hotel and gorgeous surroundings.
