Positive: It is located up the hill next to the castle. There is parking which is good as many places in Berat did not have parking for guests. you can walk down to the river and town. but remember you have to walk uphill which takes about 20min. it is convenient to the castle. there are many restaurants within walking distance (some as close as 2min walk). There is always a breeze so even it’s hot you can sit outside and have an amazing view of castle, castle wall and houses and churches. in the evening it was lovely sitting outside overlooking berat.
Negative: Having to walk 20min uphill from centre of Berat.

Positive: The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The location was very convenient and made it easy to get around. The breakfast was tasty, and the view outside the property was beautiful. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay.
Negative: The only thing that could be improved is that the room description wasn't completely accurate. We booked a room with a mountain/garden view, but the view wasn't actually visible from the room, so it would be better if this was described more honestly. The parking was also quite crowded, which made getting in and out a bit difficult. It might help to assign each room a specific parking space and leave enough room for guests to reverse and park more easily.

Positive: All good. It was easy to visit the castle from the hotel. The castle has more to offer than the town below so the villa was a great choice.

Positive: The view of the castle is amazing and the location is excellent, The place is really clean and the breakfast was tasty and abundand. We really enjoyed our stay with the family.
Negative: Nothing much really, just be aware that the owner might be limited in speaking English or italian, but he has staff that can help with this.
