Summary: We were here two nights with our family. The customer service was excellent. Twila made us feel very welcome. I felt very safe in the city. The hotel takes safety seriously. The beds were comfortable. There was room for our family to relax with with a family room room attached to the bedroom. We didn’t use the pool or exercise room, but they looked very nice. We just didn’t end up having time. The breakfast was excellent honestly the best breakfast that we had at a hotel and we just came off of a two week trip. Great food options that were fresh and delicious. I really appreciate the care of the staff take for this hotel. You could tell that it was run very professionally.

Summary: It was just ok. I stayed here 20 years ago and I remember the proximity to the plaza was wonderful. Well, 60 year old me struggled to walk up the steep hill. The bed was too soft and the pillows were not comfortable. We should have stayed at the Fontaine. Much nicer hotel for less money.

Summary: Room was very clean. Hotel in general was a great choice. Only criticism is the stool in the bathroom. It is only about a foot and a half off the floor and for someone who has had hip and knee replacements in the last 6 months, it was very hard getting on and off.

Summary: Mostly good. Someone always at the front desk. Everything was clean. Breakfast was usual and they didn't even start packing breakfast things up until 10am. Cons: the bed was very firm, pillows were super flat (had to get more and double stack), $20/day parking fee in garage with small narrow spaces (little difficult with full size truck), sink gurgled, sorry loose outlets everywhere in room. Had to use other things like room phone to wedge under phone chargers and CPAP cord to keep power flowing.

Summary: Overall pretty clean and comfortable. Navigating to and from the parking garage took a bit to get used to but once we had it down, it was fine. Little difficult to trek with lots of luggage as you have to take two different elevators. Parking garage stalls are TINY. Service was great. Sink was clogged when we arrived but took care of it promptly. Breakfast was below average but I did love the sign with “traffic” times for breakfast. Rotten bananas. Expected more for the price but it was an okay stay. Pool was clean.

Summary: We only stayed for one night and didn't use any of the amenities. Check-in was a breeze and the staff was helpful. The rooms and hotel were clean. Parking was easy. The beds were comfortable. It is close to the Plaza area. Our daughter is going to Grad school at UMKC and we feel this will be our go to place for visits.

Summary: We first stayed in this facility when it was brand new, and again several times over the years. But it became too expensive, so we went to other hotels. This time the price was more affordable. I will say that years ago the breakfast was better, and I recall a happy hour on occasion.
