Summary: I don't like leaving negative reviews as I'd like to support a good business establishment, but my experience at this hotel did not meet my expectation. We arrived at the hotel late, past midnight, due to our flight schedule. Upon check in, I found the room to be noticeably unclean — the closet had piles of dust and a ball of hair on the floor, the fridge was dirty and I found hair stuck in one of the bath towels. I informed the front desk about the dirty closet on the next day around noon time, hoping for a thorough clean up, especially the closet area. The front desk seemed to be unbothered and told me that the housekeeping would be notified. However, nothing was done on that day. The room was cleaned on the next day (the 3rd day of our stay), but the closet area was not cleaned as I had requested. Additionally, while trying to use the ironing board, the center screw came off which caused the ironing board to collapse unexpectedly and jammed my finger. The injury left my finger swollen and very painful. I have to note that I talked to the manager on duty, Wesley, on several occasions and he was friendly and helpful. It was the other male employee (did not get his name) who was very cold and unresponsive to our request. This lack of basic cleanliness and customer service was very disappointing. I would not recommend staying here unless major improvements are made.

Summary: Property is in an excellent neighborhood. Didn’t worry about the safety of our family or vehicle during the stay. Rooms were clean and front desk people were nice during check in and check out

Summary: This was a great property to stay. We wanted something close to downtown St Louis but in our price range and this place was perfect. From the time we walked through the door the place was clean and welcoming. The checking and service throughout our stay was amazing, very personable. The whole hotel was very clean. The room was roomy and very clean. Comfortable bed and pillows. Loved the breakfast options. The on-site bar is a nice touch. Friendly bartender.
