Summary: I was already upset that my first reservation was set for Lufkin tx property but for whatever reason it was sent to the Center tx property... in the middle of driving late at night to Lufkin i had to scramble to get my walket to try and straighten this mess all out. I finally get hold of lufkin property and the rate is almist double to what i original reserved it for . When i get to my $260 night rokm the a/c wasnt working right and the front desk couldnt figure it out either ...

Summary: It had been about a year since I chose to stay at Hampton Inn in Center Texas. I can tell the hotel has done some updates to window drapes (which really needed it from my last stay) as well as repainting that was poorly done as the paint is peeling in both the bathroom and bedroom. Not enough towels are available with the new updated towel shelf on the wall. Breakfast selection was not as I remembered the many years I had stayed visiting family before. I have not ruled out staying here again…as these are things that can be corrected and will probably affect guest visiting for the first time positively.

Summary: The front desk night clerk and morning clerk ladies were very nice. Great bed. Shower was good. Breakfast was great loved the choices.

Summary: Several things were out of order. Elevator, business center, fitness equipment. Had to pay for an offsite gym membership for the week while traveling. Hotel seems to have gone downhill.
