Negative: Elevator problems. Both closed down at times. People had to climb 4 flights of stairs with luggage etc. Some in our group were elderly and impaired. We saw nobody working on the elevators and were told one of the two had been out two weeks. Unacceptable!!! Also it could take 5 to 10 minutes to get hot water for a shower. An ant was crawling on one of the beds when we got there. Too much money to pay for problems like these !!

Positive: Breakfast was awesome with plenty of options and hot coffee. The location was fantastic. We were moving our student into his dorm at Newberry College and we couldn't have asked for a more perfect location. Not only to the college, but everything we needed was nearby and easily accessible. Would definitely stay here again! Fantasic staff!

Negative: The only thing I didn't like is like most hotels. Rooms aren't tidied up on a daily basis anymore which meant our little trashcans stayed full.

Summary: Highly recommend to anyone coming to visit Newberry.

Positive: When I entered the lobby/reception area, I immediately noticed the rich dark wood on the walls and surrounding area. It made everything appear regal and luxurious. Further, it made the room quiet and inviting.

Negative: I can think of nothing that could be better.
