Positive: Large spacious room, comfy bed and fireplace. We liked that the toilet and shower were separate from the sink area. AC was whisper quiet which made sleeping easy. Also the bathroom fan was quiet too. Nice property overall.

Negative: Not a huge deal but I found the lights in the bedroom and breakfast area were extremely bright and harsh. I’d tone this down a little esp in the room.

Summary: Quiet and restful room, pleasant stay.

Negative: I stayed in room 349, the deadbolt lock on door didn't work. I let both the night desk and day desk persons know of this issue. I didn't expect immediate action as it would take a maintenance person to repair the issue. The deadbolt concern did not affect my stay. However, I stayed in the same room (349) approximately a month earlier and at that time the deadbolt didn't work and I let the desk person know. Both stays I was assured that the maintenance person would be alerted to the problem. This is a security problem that needs to be addressed.

Summary: Everything was fine except the lack of deadbolt security.

Positive: Location was great. Easy access off hwy 101. An hour from Monterey, which is where we spent our time. Close to gas stations and grocery stores, including Trader Joe’s. Breakfast was very good, with different hot options daily, along with all the standards such as oatmeal, waffles, etc. Very nice decor throughout. We stayed on the first floor and liked the location of the room.

Negative: It was all great.

Summary: I’d recommend the Hampton Inn, Morgan Hill to anyone visiting the area.

Positive: The breakfast was awesome. Great location. The room was clean. The staff was amazing and I love that in the night there was a Mexican man cooking tacos across the street. Those tacos were amazing I would definitely come back again. This is my place to stay when I come back home
