Positive: SUPER friendly and helpful staff! Linda in the kitchen/dining room was wonderfully sweet! The pool area was a big hit for our three granddaughters.

Negative: Our trip down to Marion was clouded by the email I had received from Hampton Inn a couple days before to say that the hotel would be enforcing a "mask rule" for all guests!!! WHAT??? I was sick over that and was considering canceling our reservation when I read it. I imagined our holiday weekend with our granddaughters being spoiled by illogical mask restrictions and potential closing of the pool.

Summary: Our stay was PERFECT once we found that the hotel was not enforcing the ridiculous mask rule. :)

Positive: everything was very well laid out, a great variety of fresh fruit, the ladies working the breakfast were very friendly and accommodating.

Negative: powdered eggs, everything else was wonderful.

Positive: Location, it was clean. Generally it was nice. Good facilities

Negative: I could not get the ac right, it would get to temp and get way too hot before it kicked on again. Need to be able to run the fan all the time if need be, room was musty upon arrival but aired out ok.
