Positive: The house is very clean, traditionally irish, which is lovely. It has lots of facilities including, towels, tea and coffee. Bathroom, kitchen were clean and kept. The beds were very comfortable with nice linen. We would definitely book to stay again. It is close to Kilkent and Callan.

Positive: A wonderful place for people who want to relax from the city. The whole farm just for us. We took 2 dogs with us, they had plenty of space to run and play in the garden, which was visited by calves from behind the fence. Cool!

Negative: The farmer came to spray the weeds with chemicals around the farm. We had dogs with us, so we were a little worried about them getting poisoned. Fortunately, they were fine.

Positive: The location is wonderfully isolated yet quite a short drive to the closest town. The house is a charming mid-century former farm with some unique fixtures that is a real blast from the past. The refurbished bathroom adds mod cons. It's very close to a large working farm and farmland. The property is fenced off so my dog was secure and not in danger or able to cause any trouble.

Negative: There is only one two seater sofa and a large kitchen table in the living room. The 'good' room at the front was locked which was pity. The house felt a little damp but got aired out well once windows were opened and scented candles lit. We may have been the first rental of the season.

Summary: Quaint former farm, great base for trips to Kilkenny, Cahir or Waterford.
