Halls Gap Hideaway is a cosy, romantic, retreat with a vintage vibe, in the heart of the Grampians.
The house has beautiful views out the front, as well as frequent sightings of the abundant wildlife surrounding Hideaway. Expect daily visits from friendly parrots and kookaburras whilst you sit amid the treetops on the balcony.
Hideaway has a large open living area with sofa and comfy armchairs that easily accommodate 4 people, and a separate dining area with table and 6 chairs. Real wood fire.
There is a full kitchen to make a nice dinner at home.
Bathroom with walk in shower, washing machine, and spa bath.
Two cosy bedrooms with queen beds, high quality linens, and the occasional kangaroo-sighting from your bed! The bedrooms are separated by a fairly thin wall, so suits those travelling together who are comfortable in close quarters.
There are two outdoor spaces to soak up all that nature: a balcony at the front with outdoor lounge chairs, high in the treetops with views over to Boronia Peak. A perfect spot for a sundowner with the birds or for stargazing.

Summary: Charming property with its retro aesthetic however some elements going beyond retro and into disrepair.Leaking window, missing light fixtures and broken appliances didn’t make me feel’at home’. Beautiful setting right amongst the Grampians National Park and a welcome wood burner for cold nights.

Summary: Communication from owner was great and very comprehensive and timely with regards to how to access property. Properly was lovely. Exceptionally neat and clean and nicely furnished. Lovely deck amongst the trees and private deck off each bedroom. Beds were very comfortable as were the couches/chairs.
