Summary: This experience at Halcyon House was a little disappointing. We had informed them it was a special occasion but nonetheless were given an unsatisfactory room. ( number 202). We had upgraded from garden view to a pool view which was not visible due to a solid concrete balcony wall about 150 cm high and in the corner of the building. I am 148 cm tall ! My husband complained but was told the hotel was full. They did move us the next day to a very nice room, but when only staying for 2 nights, it was a very disappointing experience. Breakfast in the Paper Daisy restaurant was very good as was dinner on the birthday night. They did try to make amends by giving us a bottle of red wine which we appreciated. The decor of this Hotel is really lovely,but also expensive, so it's a pity room 202 is unacceptable. We did hear others had previously complained.

Summary: Everything about this hotel was fabulous, the staff in front the GM,the restaurant team. We can’t say enough kind things. Seriously every person felt like family

Summary: Had a lovely getaway - shame it wasn’t longer. Spa was great, delicious food at the restaurant, nice to chill by pool, easy walk to the beach and lots of activities via the hotel. Will come again. Perfect boutique getaway

Summary: Every detail was seen to in a thoughtful, luxurious and classy way. Staying here is designed with comfort, ease and convenience in mind. Attentive staff, beautiful food, amazing location, Spa and amenities… and did I mention the Whale activity up and down the beach???Wow!! We could not say enough about the Halcyon experience. We will definitely be back! Thank you!

Summary: Beautiful place for a mini break. Stunning decor and impeccable attention to detail. Loved dining at Paper Daisy, cocktails by the pool, visiting local area and late check out option.

Summary: Every little detail at Halycon was perfect. The staff were so friendly, professional and beautifully presented. A small walk out the front to a divine beach. Rooms were perfectly decorated again with amazing attention to detail. Wonderful restaurant Paper Daisy where we had an excellent dinner and breakfast. We will be back
