Hafod is a distinctive property located within several acres of a protected ancient woodland, a few miles away from Conwy, offering fantastic views. Sleeping up to 8 people in 4 bedrooms, it is perfect for families and hikers, with nearby footpaths leading to the hills, or a quick drive to the Snowdonia coast. The property has undergone significant renovations and enhancements to now feature four bedrooms, with two on the ground floor, one with a separate en-suite bathroom accessed through a sliding door. The other two bedrooms are located on the first floor. There is a snug area and connected dining space, which is soundproofed and equipped with blinds for privacy and offers a relaxing space with wonderful views. In addition, there is a spacious ground floor shower room, a family bathroom, a kitchen, and patio doors leading to the garden, and a comfortable seating in the snug area, with a log burner and a smart TV connected to WiFi, which is provided throughout. The first floor of the property features a spacious lounge area with folding doors that lead to a balcony providing stunning views of the nearby mountains. There are also patio doors that open up to the rear decking and surrounding woodlands. A modern wood burning stove is also present in the lounge. In order to prevent sheep from entering the garden area, a fence has been erected along the north and west of the property's 6-acre grounds. Summary: Spacious house well equipped

Summary: The house is absolutely beautiful and surrounded by nature, and the check in process straightforward, with clear instructions for arriving at the property (try downloading a map in advance as there is no cell phone signal whatsoever in the area). We were five adults (2 couples + single parent) and three children 3-4 years old. The children absolutely loved the place, immediately calling it their "holiday home" and not wanting to leave! The property has two beautiful double rooms and two twin rooms, so this was just enough for us (but ideally, I'd recommend up to two couples + up to 4 children and possibly a baby as there is a cot). The area is stunning, and the house excellently located for going on day trips in and around northern Wales. Dutch Pancake house and water gardens are a short drive, and beautiful hikes within 20 min ride. Cleanness generally good, but this aspect could be improved (for example, I found a teenage bra ! at the wardrobe of the room where me and my daughter were staying, and the extra duvets did not smell great... No dishwashing tablets provided despite there being a dishwasher, which is a bummer as you are of course required to return the property as clean as you found it... So do your shopping ahead of time). Design is stunning in most areas, bit scruffy in others. A noisy water pump goes off occasionally. Property owner direct and "hands off," replied when needed but nothing beyond. Overall, warmly recommended for couples and families!
