Positive: Great location for a low key warm holiday. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. Breakfast is wonderful. Pool is lovely and so private.

Negative: Some quirks. Power outages, hot water problems, non-fitting toilet seat. Door to room did not lock when we left it for the day. All these things were not that big a deal.

Summary: Not a big resort! That’s what makes it special!

Positive: Nice place to stay and the beach is a short walk from the back of the facility. Staff are very friendly. Grocery store with fresh fruit and vegetables, wine/alcohol and pharmacy are literally steps away.

Negative: The sand fleas are atrocious! It's 6 weeks that I am back from my stay and I still have very itchy bites all over my legs and feet. If you walk on the beach or eat at the local restaurants on the beach, be sure to wear bug spray. Also wash your feet before going back to your room. The room I stayed in Frieda, was right next to a dance club/bar and the music was super load every night.

Summary: Beware of Sand Fleas!!!

Positive: Very friendly staff which took care and helped wherever it was needed. Nice little restaurants around which served very yummy and fresh seafood for a good value of money and a beautiful beach with not many tourists.

Negative: It is more like a hostel than a hotel, double check the price before you book as we got clearly overcharged for what we got. The neighborhood burns trash in the evening so we had a smoke smell in our room almost all night long. Maintenance could be better and the way to the beach and back has space for improvement. Ensure you bring very good mosquito repellent as the room doesn’t have a mosquito net and the entire area has plenty of mosquitoes in the late afternoon/ evening. The area is very remote and all restaurants close 5pm the latest, but two little grocery stores opposite the road have all basics available.

Summary: More a hostel then a hotel away from tourists crowds
