Positive: Basic place, reflected in price. Can't make any complaints abou the price versus room ratio as it was inexpensive and a bit basic but that was fine as that's what I paid for.

Negative: The two middle-aged receptionists were the most miserable I've come across for a number of years. I have no idea why they would want to work in a service industry with their attitude. You can do without muttering or pulling of faces, when all you've asked for is a cup of boiling water! I hope the owner reads this as I have seen that I am not the first to comment on this. I stayed in two other hotels on this trip to Hungary and have left glowing reviews of the receptionists at the other hotels but some retraining needs to be done at this establishment. The younger staff were fine.

Summary: Basic rooms, basic price. No complaints - but would not stay again due to reception staff attitude.

Positive: Close to the Tisza, great location, good food in the restaurant. Sound breakfast. Bed very hard, could be updated.
