Positive: I was so happy to arrive at such a lovely place after a day walking in torrential rain. Rooms were warm, the shower hot, there is a drying room in the basement for wet clothes and boots, and the restaurant and dinner were wonderful. Breakfast the next morning was left out for my convenience, and very good. The location on the Jura Crest Trail (Route 5) and other paths is perfect for walkers.

Negative: The road over the Col runs right outside the building, so there is occasional traffic noise, but that's unavoidable.

Summary: I liked my first visit so much that I booked another stay before leaving.
