Positive: Beautiful cottage. Well placed to visit the island. Quiet picturesque location. Lovely views. Clean, warm, well equipped. Thoughtful complimentary welcome pack. Lovely log burner. Gorgeous shower. Very friendly host.

Negative: The double mattress in the main bedroom dipped on one side and consequently I didn’t sleep well which was a shame. Also the heating woke me up at 6am both days as the radiator in the bedroom was noisy.

Positive: The cottage had everything you could need, best equipped accommodation we have ever been in and I have been in a lot. Having two bathrooms and open plan kitchen lounge ensured we could converse wherever we were. The host was outstanding in ensuring we were comfortable, the bread, cakes and milk on arrival were so fresh and tasty. The location was perfect, the field for use by dogs was completely fenced and private and a short throw from the cottage. The privacy and quiet location allowed us to fully relax. I could not find a fault with the accommodation and we will definitely return again and again.

Summary: Four adults and two dogs, and we all rate the cottage as outstanding. Especially the dogs.

Positive: If I asked you to describe the perfect Welsh cottage for a long weekend, you'd describe Gwyllt Cottages!! Idyllic location, off the beaten track yet with stunning views AND 20 minutes from Waitrose!! Superbly appointed cottage with comfy beds, well equipped kitchen, log fire (with logs, coal, firelighters and matches provided), amazing shower / bathroom, dog friendly and indoor / outdoor flow. Best of all was the warm welcome from Sian and Oscar that made our stay. Private driveway, fields for the dogs to play, safe, secure and perfect location for exploring the island. Even a welcome pack with fresh bread, milk, butter and homemade jam. I couldn't recommend it highly enough!!

Negative: You don't visit Wales for the weather!! Otherwise everything was perfect.
