Positive: Quaint old cottage, excellent wi-fi. Had a nice deck area, heaters in the bedrooms and comfy beds.

Negative: No heating in the sitting area, except for an open log fire, which didn't suit us, being far too dangerous with us out a lot during the day. Also, being on holiday, we didn't want to spend time cleaning out and resetting the fire. (Note to other visitors: first firewood bundle free, then each subsequent one another 10 pounds). We live in Australia and wanting to organise a minor date change for the booking, paid upfront for in February, for this June booking, it was not only difficult to contact the Cottage Property Managers, situated in Leeds, England, but they were also extremely difficult to deal with. Without paying more for another night, it was near impossible, so we gave up and arrived the day earlier (Wednesday) which meant we needed to find alternative accommodation and pack up and leave for the final Saturday night.

Positive: Lovely apartment with huge balcony. Well maintained, all the facilities you need. Best bit has to be the shared pool by the property which was always pretty quiet when we were there (8-15th July) and the lagoon with its own private area for residents. The lagoon is particularly great place to sunbathe, try out a canoe, pedals or padelboard, and the shallow water by the beach area is great place to cool off for both young and old.

Negative: Nothing bad to say.

Summary: Brilliant place to stay for both young and old.
