Positive: Our hosts Gumm and Jeng were amazingly welcoming, attentive, fun, and always available to everything we need from local recommendations to help our kids to fishery! The meal cooked by Jeng was very nice. We felt at home in the minute we entered gumm's house. Riding a canoe and fishing directly from the living room is special. The surrounding location magical. Perfect hidden gem.

Positive: We loved our stay at Gumm and Yaeng! The space is very clean and has a nice atmosphere. We stayed in a room with shared bathroom, which was very clean. There are many places you can chill and Yaeng is an amazing cook. We felt like coming home every day and extended our stay another week. You can rent a scooter and they help you arrange things and give tips. Great place, great people. Hope to come back someday!!

Positive: The accommodation is just perfect. The owners are incredibly nice, helpful and funny :) The whole accommodation is a work of art, you can see the love behind it. Everything is incredibly clean and very beautifully decorated. It is possible to eat there, and for me this food is the best I have ever had the pleasure of eating. Thank you both for a home away from home!

Positive: This place is a gem. We immediately fell in love with this hotel as we walked into this cozy and warm house on stills in the middle of a mangrove forest. The hosts, Gumm and his wife, are so welcoming and helpful. We had an amazing time. Motorbike for rent is available. Delicious breakfast is included. We felt at home! Would 1000% recommend.

Negative: Note that there is no air conditioning in the rooms, but we felt comfortable as it gets cooler at night and with a fan available.

Positive: I’m sure I am only echoing other reviews here, however, Gumm and Jan are the friendliest most accommodating hosts that I have ever had the pleasure of meeting; nothing was too much trouble and the food at Gumm Lonley is outstanding. The accommodating is unique and rustic, but instantly felt like a home away from home, this is a credit to both Jan and Gumm and their approach to running their property. I am travelling for a further 11 months and hope to return to Koh Kood at some point, if and when I do, I will make a point of popping in to say hello. Thank you for an amazing time both!
