Cottage is conveniently located on the Gulf side of Dauphin Island, just a few steps from the water’s edge and is privately owned and operated.
Great care has gone into planning every detail for our family and friends from clean, soft, comfortable well-maintained linens to a wide variety of cooking need utensils for your home away from home.
To make your vacation more enjoyable and less stressful, we provide initial laundry detergent pods, dish soap, and dishwasher soap pods, bath soap, hand soap, 1 roll paper towels,
3 rolls of toilet tissue, 2 kitchen trash can bags, 9 beach towels, assortment of beach toys.
The floor plan includes an open living/dining area, beautiful views of the water, and large windows letting in lots of natural light.
The kitchen is well appointed with everything needed for cooking family meals and includes a microwave,
traditional coffee pot, Keurig coffee maker, toaster, hand mixer, blender, crock pot, convection oven, dishwasher, and all the flatware, glass, dish, serving dishes,
and cookware needed for a family of 11. The center island is great for food prep and offers comfortable seating for 8.
A rectangular drop leaf table provides additional seating for 2 people. A charcoal grill and picnic table are available for cook-outs and outdoor dining.
There are 2 master bedrooms, each furnished with a king bed and private bath with single vanity and shower. The northeast guest room
is furnished with 2 sets of twin bunk beds and the center north bedroom has a full/twin bunk bed.
The third bath is located off the hallway and is a single vanity with tub/shower combo. All bedrooms are equipped with flat screen TVs,DVD Blue-Ray players, and firesticks for your enjoyment.
The oversized covered porch is perfect for relaxing, dining, reading, or just watching/listening to the waves. When dolphins are swimming close to shore, they can often can be seen from the porch.
Dauphin Island is known for its shell collecting, fishing, bike and walking trails, a wonderful bird sanctuary, Estuarium and Sea Lab, and historic Fort Gaines. Other attractions in the Mobile area include the USS Battleship Alabama,
Bellingrath Gardens and Home, and the historic antebellum homes. Or, you can take the ferry from Dauphin Island to over to Fort Morgan and Gulf Shores.
Summer Season: Reservations for the summer season are a minimum of 7 days and rental period is Sunday to Sunday. Summer season rentals must be paid in full 60 days prior to arrival,

Payment of rental fees for stays of less than 7 days are due in full at time of booking, unless otherwise agreed to in writing.

Summary: We had an amazing stay at Dauphin Island! The house was perfect for our family. The four rooms and three bathrooms were spacious enough for us to have a great experience. The house is a short walk away from a quiet beach. There were never more than 5 people within 100 feet of us on the beach. We found great shells and the boogie boards were a blast for the kids. The front porch was great for drinking coffee and watching the ocean. Local restaurants were very good. I would recommend the island rainbow for pizza and ice cream as well as the Pirates bar and grill for good seafood and views. The lighthouse bakery had amazing breakfast but you want to get there early. The house came with all the beach towels and basic amenities to start off. I would highly recommend this property for a relaxing beach vacation. Thank you!

Summary: We are first-timers to Dauphin Island. We wanted a beach house that could accommodate our family and small dog. This house hit the mark. We loved the covered outdoor porch area with a picnic table and a hanging chair. We ate dinner outside almost daily and drank coffee while admiring the ocean view. All the bedrooms have a good variety of TV streaming channels, and the mattress we slept on was very comfortable to our liking. The house has everything you need for cooking, laundry, and cleaning off beach equipment. The house is very close to the beach, so close you can walk back anytime you want to get some more snacks or beach gear. Thank you, Ginny and Josh, for your hospitality.

Summary: Our 2 families loved this space for a week at the beach. Plenty of space for the 6 kids to hang out and adults to relax. The beach is so close - we could hear the waves from the deck outside. Our favorite morning coffee spot! This house was clean, updated, and well stocked. We would love to stay again!
