Summary: It was a fantastic location but they neglected to mentioned that the “4th bedroom” was in fact just a glorified closet attached to the 3rd bedroom. The bed was small which they disclosed but that was all they mentioned.

Summary: The apartment was a good fit for our group of 5. For an old building in an old part of the city, things operated as one should expect. Things are noisy and a little clunky though not without their charms. The shower in the private bathroom is truly not usable for more than a very brief rinse. Uber does not know how to get to the address and will drop you off a couple blocks away. We found that directing them to drop off at Museo Teatro Romano was reliable and an easier walk. The beds were comfortable, the location clean. We did lose power for a few hours and a representative was quick to reach through a phone call. The neighborhood was very nice, quite touristy. We would stay here again.

Summary: The unit was exactly as promised with all amidites. The issue was the construction that started at 8am the first morning of our stay when we were hoping to sleep in. The construction stopped at a reasonable time in the evening but then the person upstairs decided to get their 10,000 steps in for the day with shoes on and did not stop until just after midnight. The second day was heavy stone work construction all day but we went out in the afternoon. The night was quiet thank goodness as we had an early flight back to Canada in the AM.

Summary: Couldn’t want for a better location. Authentic, characterful, multi-roomed apartment in the heart of the Alfama. Only thing to note which isn’t clear on the listing is that while there are 4 bedrooms, only 3 have independent access. The 4th is a single room only accessible via one of the other double bedrooms- so that wouldn’t work for groups of adults sharing. But a lovely, well-located, v clean apartment. We had a great time.

Summary: A block away from the castle on a relatively quiet street. The amazing location was definitely the highlight of this apartment. Easy check-in process, made our stay in Lisbon very enjoyable. A few doorknobs were missing, but that certainly didn’t cause any problems.

Summary: I want to start off by saying that the property itself was very beautiful and in a great location. That being said, upon coming in after an entire night spent at the hospital, I initially didn’t care to notice that the beds were unmade, and that the trash in all areas were not picked up. I was recovering from a head injury, so I wasn’t as acutely aware as my friends about the condition of the place until I finally got up a few days later to check out the apartment. That’s when I realized that this place was probably not cleaned prior to our arrival. There were also some floor stains in the kitchen. I got the overall impression that nothing was cleaned from the previous occupants. I messaged the host about this and he did respond promptly and got the place cleaned. I just lament that this all happened on our last day of our stay, so we were potentially sleeping in prior used bed sheets for a few nights. My only hope is that there is quality control next time and they verify that the place is cleaned after the checkout of every guest.
