Positive: The most authentic experience we’ve had so far in our trip! We unfortunately stayed only one night. Ayyoub and his family were super welcoming and we felt right at home from the start. Food was delicious (dinner and breakfast), and the terrace has a beautiful view. We would love to go back and definitely recommend it!

Positive: Very good price/value. Nice surrounding for walking. No sounds from cars. Country side. Clean, spacious room. Friendly owner. There is also the possibility of lunch for 70 dirham and dinner for 80 dirham, which is good since the place is a bit away from Skoura town. The ability to use their washing machine is really a big Plus. I could use also a bicycle for free, which was a other plus. Strong wifi available. Nice over view from roof on surrounding area. Good breakfast. It's also worth to take a nice walk along gardens, to the main road, were you can have a drink in some places.

Negative: oct. 2025. The only reason that I do not rate higher is; because in my confirmation was written, that I booked a room for 2 persons. So I was very disappointed to found out that this room for 2 persons was taken by a family member, and I had to stay in a (very nice spacious) room, but suitable for many more people, but not a 2 person-room as mentioned in the confirmation from booking. Also the photo on my confirmation showed a 2 personsbed (see photo), but in the room I got there were only benches. Ideal for sitting, but much less for sleeping on. That's the main reason I don't rate higher. (Actual this could also have been a reason to rate much lower than 7, but since they just started the business, and will have to overcome these kinds of errors I rate 7, which in Europe is still a big sufficient number) The photo's (I added) shows my confirmation from booking for a room for 2 persons and a photo of the room which I booked (but did not got !). The misunderstanding can by due to translation error by the software of booking, and also because the guesthouse itself uses the word 'double room' ( instead of 'family room'), for the room full with benches along the wall.

Summary: Beautifull house in quiet location. Room not as in confirmation.

Positive: Loved the family who let us stay in their home , we got contacted by Ayyoub to check what time we will be arriving and if we would like dinner and to learn from his mum, how to cook tajine. We arrived later than planned , but they were happy to still cook with us and dinner was delicious- probably the best one we had so far. There is a washing machine which was ok for us to use, and it was definitely needed after travelling for 11 days. Whole place was clean and felt really nice to be in. Breakfast was delicious and everyone was so nice. Shame we couldn’t stay longer due to travel plans, but we would definitely return. My little ones loved it as well and as a bonus they adored all the cats.

Positive: It was a very lovely family, really hospitable, super helpful and welcoming!, they gave us a tour of local places, we had a clean and cosy bedroom, air conditioning in room was very good, the food was really delicious and the family was super kind and showed us how to make tagine and moroccan tea, it was very interesting getting to know the family and their story! (Also, there were baby cats around, which were really sweet!) It was a relaxing stay. We want to come again in the future! :)

Negative: It would have been useful to have a car to get around in Skoura, but luckily the family had bikes we were allowed to use.

Positive: I loved that it was the best of both worlds scenic and peacefull but close to all taxi/bus stations.and the city centre for cash point money exchange and excursions its about a 20- 30 minute walk depending on your speed but you can get a local cab ride into town for 5 dirham which In English is about 50/60p the prices from skoura to other towns are very cheap between 15-35 dirham and the markets in the area are great ☺️ the community are very giving and helpfull and thats just adds to ambiance ❣️ and the the food was absolutely delicious I looked forward to every meal daily 😋 ❣️😊 i will definitely be back lol❣️❣️ I feel lucky to have met such a lovely family the love they have for each other, culture, history and guests is shown in everything they do ❣️

Negative: I honestly can't complain about anything ❣️

Positive: I am a frequent visitor to Morocco, and for a recent family trip I booked this house in the middle of Skoura Oasis. We were lucky to meet Abderahim and his family, who welcomed us very warmly. A hearty breakfast was included, and for a reasonable price we had also and excellent dinner of Moroccan traditional food. Abderahim is the custodian of the old kasbah Baallal nearby, and we had the opportunity to visit it accompanied by him (the pictures of the mud-brick building correspond to the kasbah). Very interesting, also for the explanations. He speaks in French, but his son Ayoub has a good level of English. They made us feel at home, showing a lot of empathy with my children. A sample of traditional Moroccan hospitality. This is something that is being lost as the country develops. And that no longer exists in places overrun by tourists. Shukran! gracias !

Negative: The house is a bit difficult to find as it is in the middle of a palm grove, but it is not far from the main road and we were able to get there following google directions. We had also contacted Abderahim and he came out to meet us. The car can be parked near the house, in a safe environment.

Positive: This home stay was amazing. It was absolutely our favourite place to stay in Morocco. They welcomed us as if we were royalty and we felt we were embraced as part of their family during our stay. Fantastic experience and a highlight of our Morocco Adventure

Negative: Nothing! Just be aware that the fabulously clean and spacious bathroom has a squatty loo not a Western style one. Also, we borrowed bicycles but then found they actually cost 50 MAD per person.
