Summary: Our stay in this Franklin Park home was mostly enjoyable. The house was spotless and well-equipped with everything we needed for the weekend: outstanding parking, a great location, multiple TVs, and comfortable beds. This partially renovated older property has great potential.The biggest issue with our stay was discovering another individual residing at the property during our stay in the lower garden-level apartment. The description did not "clearly" state that the property would be shared, making the lack of privacy very uncomfortable for our family. "Main floor has its own front and back door entrances with electronic keylock deadbolts each. Everything is self-contained on the main floor; nothing is shared with a garden unit." We did not read this to mean "shared space," more like basement storage. Not only were we unaware of the lower level resident, it was maddening trying to sleep with the humming of a washer & dryer below the master bedroom and a buzzer going off at 12:45 a.m.I hate writing negative comments, but I felt compelled to speak up so that future renters won't be alarmed when strangers enter the back of the house and head towards the basement in the middle of the night.

Summary: Pat and Esteban have a nice house in a nice neighborhood. It was close to the things we had going in Chicago and in the Western suburbs. The place was very clean and our hosts were very responsive to our needs....especially when the tornado sirens went off in the neighborhood. Would definitely recommend this house to anyone. It's a lot cheaper than houses closer to downtown. It was perfect for me and my wife, 2 kids, son-in-law, and 2 grandkids.

Summary: We arrived to an immaculate home in a quiet neighborhood. Our hosts were responsive of our questions and requests. Plenty of accommodations like towels, soap, shampoo, dishes, pots and pans. The table under the peach tree was relaxing. There are stores (Walgreens and an amish store among others) within walking distance. We really enjoyed our stay and will request the same place in the future.
