Positive: Loved how quiet the place was. Was very spacious and felt like home away from home.

Negative: There was no wifi available, as there was an issue, but came in expecting this as other reviewers said the same, it was hard though as you could hardly get any network signal both partner and I were batling with 1 bar each or separate networks. The owner did apologise for the inconvenience which was appreaciated. Another downside was how thin the walls were, you could hear everything going on with the couple upstairs who kept us awake from 7am on a Sunday after going to bed at 4am, which wasnt great. We could actually hear them snoring while we were watching TV which was very surreal. Luckily they didnt come in until Sunday afternoon, before that it was very peaceful.

Negative: The only downside was that in the living room you could hear the telly upstairs from a guest, I presume through the large fireplace.

Positive: I had booked this apartment for 3 friends visiting from France. They found it to be very nice, very clean, well equipped and a friendly host. There is an outdoor covered pool which they didn’t get chance to try. 5 mins walking to a range of shops. The property is on the main road but the accommodation is at the rear so no problem.

Negative: Nothing.

Summary: Excellent, just the ticket !

Positive: Beautiful house in an excellent location. Pam hosts an incredible experience from start to finish with brilliant communication. We loved looking out onto the lovely tranquil gardens and appreciated the privacy. Spacious rooms and great luxurious bathroom. Large lounge overlooking garden. Safe private parking. Loads of wardrobe space. Huge comfortable bed. Well equipped kitchen. Very clean and country decor gave a lovely cosy cottage ambience. Close to Hartford station and a gastro pub which served wonderful meals.

Negative: Impossible to find fault as we had a perfect stay. Pam is a very talented host so even if we encountered a fault we know Pam would resolve immediately as she cares passionately about her guests enjoying their stay.

Summary: A perfect hidden gem.
