Positive: he location was Perfect. The pool was nice and warm.

Negative: Bartender could only do his job of making drinks. He could not assistant with getting towels. Not his job. This time of season you have to wear more them one hat. The all inclusive plan was over priced unless you’re going to drink. Then the staff acted like they Didn’t have to earn the gratitude.When buying the all inclusive they knew we would be out all day and didn’t even offer water automatically.

Positive: The hotel was wonderful, just as the reviews and photos promised. We met many returning guests, highlighting the excellent service. We enjoyed many complimentary perks like afternoon tea and Monday night buffet. It was such fun to see free-roaming cats, chickens, and roosters around.

Positive: Location, friendliness and helpfulness of staff, amenities, breakfast.

Negative: Found the renovated bathroom to be limited. There is no place to put toiletries, cosmetics, etc. Limited rods for hanging towels. This was our fifth visit to Grotto Bay, the first after the renovations. Don't remember this being a problem before.

Summary: This was our fifth visit to Grotto Bay and we cannot imagine staying anywhere else in Bermuda.

Positive: The beach was amazing, very clean overall. Majority of the staff was very friendly and attentive, with the exception of one bartender. Shoutout to Vinay being the best restaurant waiter! The room and facilities were clean. The all inclusive package add on was a good value and the food was amazing here! Even the water sports (kayaks, paddleboarding etc) were included if you had the all inclusive package. Very short drive to the airport. The Natura Spa in the cave was AMAZING as well as the cave they have open for swimming, those were two very unique features of the hotel.

Negative: There was only one option for lunch, which would get very crowded and slow service. The pool would also get very crowded and you could not get a seat unless you reserved it in the morning, even then people would take your seat. There were some exceptions for the all inclusive package which made it difficult to tell what was included and what wasn't, so we ended up paying for some drinks that we thought would be included but werent.

Positive: The location was great. Bus stops to Hamilton and St George’s at the entrance to property. Unbelievable Spa experience in caves. Always able to get shade at beach and pool. Food was decent. Short walk to Swizzle Inn. 5 minute cab to and from airport. Very attentive staff.

Negative: Breakfast Buffett needed more berries and premade eggs. Bathroom a bit small.

Positive: The location is great and the property is beautiful. We loved the cats, hens, roosters and chicks. The beach, cave and several bars and restaurants right on the property completed the experience. The staff was exceptional.

Negative: There were some small maintenance issues throughout the property that could use some attention but did not detract from the experience.

Summary: We will stay here again on our next visit.
