Positive: New build, clean fresh and modern . Generous breakfast . I’m a bookabach owner so appreciate these details.

Negative: Your accommodation is entirely within their home. No separate entry. Owner enters your room while you’re away from the property.eg. Taking away milk jug to wash it despite saying leave it . No fridge in bedroom.Hot water set at 42 so had to ask for increase to have a hot shower. An expensive boarding house.

Summary: Delightful however no sense of privacy .

Positive: The space felt incredibly cozy and welcoming. The flowers were in bloom so we could smell the beautiful flowers outside. Renata and Dave were excellent hosts who made a great breakfast, and had local recommendations that we added to our trip. Easy walk to downtown area and the beautiful lake.

Positive: Immaculate and quiet. I love large bathrooms with enough counter space for toiletries. Shower space was huge, had a free standing bath as well and so very clean ! Bed was comfortable and the hosts were so gracious and the nicest people . We used it as a base to head to Waitomo, Rotorua and Hobbiton of course and was a wonderful haven to return to. I believe this is one of the best B&Bs we’ve stayed in anywhere in the world. David and Renata have set the bar very high indeed!
