Summary: Hi, we were a family of 4. The room was very small for us. But the location, the service, the free breakfast were excellent. I would recommend this place especially for couples.

Summary: Phenomenal mountain side views!Very friendly. Good breakfast. Due to city bus service early closure, some uphill walking from town at times. If one doesn’t want to pay for parking in town

Summary: We loved our stay here. The balcony with Mountain view’s was spectacular. The staff was extremely helpful and kind throughout our enjoy stay. 5/5.

Summary: Everyone working there was super helpful and the breakfast was fantastic. The bed was comfortable and the shower surprisingly had fantastic water pressure. The building is quite old so you can hear anyone in a room next to you and above you quite clearly. The rooms were smaller than expected and a bit more “backpacker” style than what I envisioned. The location is up the hill from town which was fine for us (we don’t mind the walk) but we also had free access to the local bus that we took advantage of a couple of times during our 4 day stay. If I was in my 20s again I’d be happy with everything about the hotel, however in my mid 30s I think I’ve outgrown the elevated backpacker style of accommodation.

Summary: Everything about this hotel was great. We had a great stay, the owners were extremely helpful is giving us direction on what to do and whats happening around in the area. The property was easy to find - a short bus ride from the main train station. The cleanliness is top notch.

Summary: Amazing view of the Eiger from the balcony! Staff was warm and made our stay very comfortable. Bus stop is right across the hotel and guests get a free bus card to get around the area. We took the bus everyday to get to Grindelwald First and Grindelwald Terminal for access to various activities. Tickets for cable cars and other activities can be purchased at the hotel itself which was very convenient.
