Designed by renowned local architects, "Les Chalets d'Adélaïde" is a prestigious slope-side development in Grimentz, a charming medieval alpine village in the Swiss canton of Valais.
Adjacent to the piste and just a short walk to the restaurants and shops of the village, Adélaïde "9" is a recently completed, family owned, luxurious, duplex penthouse apartment which comfortably sleeps 12+ and has been finished to the highest of standards.

Tastefully appointed in a contemporary alpine-chic style with generous use of traditional, natural and locally sourced materials fitted by local craftsmen, Adélaïde "9" further benefits from spectacular mountain views and ski-in, ski-out access. The apartment is arranged over two floors connected by a bespoke wooden staircase and comprises of 5 bedrooms, 3 bath/shower rooms, guest WC, television room, study and double height gallery, lounge and dining areas. Access to the apartment is via lift from the chalet's private garage below, which has two parking spaces allocated for the apartment's exclusive use, as well as a ski room and heated boot room. There is also a separate, private laundry room for the exclusive use of Adélaïde "9" guests.

Summary: We were first time visitors to Grimentz and could not have been more pleased with the town, the skiing, and this wonderful chalet. It was just perfect. Spacious, light-filled, beautifully decorated, with a well-equipped kitchen and many comforts. We especially loved the fireplace and the balcony with stunning views. The location was great - so close to the ski lift and quick walk to shops, restaurants, grocery. Arrival and departure were easy, and accommodating to our late arrival and early departure due to international travel. Honestly I cannot say enough about how pleased we were. Thank you, Emily and Julian, for sharing this lovely home with us.

Summary: We had the best time in this wonderful apartment. Whilst the photos make the apartment look bigger it was ample enough to fit 9 people comfortably. We ate in most nights and kitchen was well equipped with a large fridge and lots of cupboard space. The fire was a delight, and we used it every day, a real feature of the living space. Bathrooms and bedrooms also light, airy and the beds super comfortable. We enjoyed the sauna and fitness room too. A great ski area for beginners and intermediate skiers, and we were lucky with lots of new snow and some beautiful sunny days. Thanks so much for making our stay so memorable. Summary: Everything was great, communication, how the unit was equipped, condition of the apartment and building, and convenience to the slopes and short walk to restaurants, etc. Only thing I would suggest is written fire place instructions for best performance (we had lots a smoke a couple times)

Summary: We booked this property last minute and the communication with the hosts was great before and after booking it. The location of the flat is great. About 80m walk from the slope so basically ski in/ski out. The flat itself is well designed. It has a lovely open plan living area which was great for relaxing as a group after skiing. Furnishings are luxurious and homely. Kitchen is well equipped. Overall I would highly recommend staying here!
