Summary: Beautiful property with such character and distinct features. Can understand why so many people have so many functions here (weddings/proms/birthdays etc.) Lovely old building with high ceilings and well designed interior but improvements needed in the rooms or at least the one we stayed in. Was not too keen on wooden flooring, lack of hanging space and poor water pressure and a loose toilet handle which the staff are aware off and have assured no major incidents should occur. Tea tray is as very difficult to use due to being low down and no table for it to be placed on top of. Plenty of parking and breakfast was delicious, could not fault the food and the staff. We’re not ones to complain but staff did empathise and were able to accommodate where possible which was really lovely. If you are in the area and would like to have a night or two to unwind we would definitely recommend !!!

Summary: Spacious and very clean room. It was very quiet in general so easy to get a good night's sleep. Food in the restaurant exceeded my expectations. All the staff were welcoming and friendly. Plenty of parking. All in all it was just perfect.
