Positive: What breakfast? Yes, we were offered to make a reservation for breakfast at another property in town where parking is at a premium, and the times offered were not convenient to our planned early start. The cost of the breakfast should have been deleted from our bill, and offered only as an optional add-on to those who wanted it.

Negative: See above - breakfast was an issue. We never set eyes on the owner or any other staff, for that matter. Paper plates, utensils, napkins, cups should have been made available in the lounge.

Summary: Our room was clean and comfortable and the location suited our plans.

Positive: The guest house and grounds are beautiful and very clean. The bed was comfortable. Marlena, the housekeeper, was super friendly and welcoming.

Negative: Breakfast is supposed to be on site and included in the price. The day of arrival we were sent a message that due to "unforeseen circumstances" there would be no breakfast on site, and we'd have to go to their sister hotel in town, about 1.5 miles away. We had no car, so we had to hire a cab or walk. It was raining most of our time there, and cabs are scarce, so it was a cold, wet walk. We had the feeling that this wasn't really an unusual occurrence. However, breakfast at the Rosedale Hotel was very good!

Positive: What an amazing b&b on isle of Skye! the hosts are absolutely incredible - so kind, so welcoming and wonderful conversationists that helped us start our days in the best way. the rooms were SO clean and SO cozy, I didn't want to leave. and the view?! felt like we were on lake Como!

Negative: literally nothing - everything was perfect. the hosts, the location, the breakfast, the rooms, everything.

Positive: We arrived in the evening to Greenacres after several hours of driving. Check-in was quick and easy, and the staff were friendly. Our room was really comfortable and clean. The indoor jacuzzi and swimming pool were exactly what we needed to relax and unwind. Highly recommend taking advantage of the facilities. By the time we went for dinner- we never made a reservation, which I recommend doing - the service was over, so we ordered the cheese platter and a Guinness. The bar lady was friendly and great to chat to. The overall experience was authentic and enjoyable.

Negative: The breakfast was a little limited. If you like Scottish national food, then I guess it's ok. The wi'-fi was practically non-existent, and I couldn't get a good signal anywhere on the premises.
