Positive: The property is in a prime location — private, secluded, and surrounded by breathtaking natural scenery, yet conveniently located near the Banana Bender Pub and the Australia Zoo. While the driveway may appear long or steep at first glance, it is exceptionally well maintained, easy to navigate, and offers stunning views throughout. I drive a low-clearance SV6 Commodore that scrapes easily, yet I had no issues at all while keeping to the 20 km/h speed limit. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by Pam and there amazing Animals and as we were leaving, we had the pleasure of meeting both Stu and Pam together. Their hospitality shone through immediately. We were also greeted by their beautiful, friendly dogs who accompanied us down to the chalet. The chalet itself exceeded all expectations — spotless, stylish, and incredibly comfortable. From the moment we arrived, we felt less like guests and more like part of their extended family. This trip was particularly special as I used it as the setting to propose. Stu and Pam went above and beyond to help me arrange the surprise and even prepared a thoughtful welcome package filled with croissants, juice, milk, water, chocolates, biscuits, chips, and other treats. The personal touches made the experience unforgettable. Overall, this was by far one of the most beautiful, peaceful, and memorable getaways I have ever had. Thank you, Stu and Pam, for your exceptional hospitality. We will most certainly be returning — without hesitation.

Positive: Absolutely amazing place, great location secluded and private, not too far from shops, clean and tidy,self sufficient so we were able to cook. Great hosts and loved the spa and the basket of goodies after being out riding motorcycles all day.

Negative: Having to leave, and the steep driveway was definitely challenging for the motorcycles.

Positive: A hidden gem! The 1.5km driveway took us through beautiful forest - giving the feeling you're absolutely off grid to unwind. Then arriving at the chalet to find all the creature comforts you need for a relaxing getaway - spa bath, candles, a porch coming off the bedroom that feels like you're in the tree tops, outdoor fire pit, snacks and breaky items provided.. it was amazing! My daughter kept saying, 'This is so fancy!'

Negative: I really have no complaints. Check in was easy. The chalet was very clean and tidy, lots of lighting options, sufficient heating & cooling. Lots of extras included like Lindt chocolates and candle by the spa bath, croissants, cereals, juice, milk etc for breaky as well as crackers, chips and snacks.

Summary: Amazing place to unwind and relax. We'll definitely be visiting again.

Positive: Complimentary snacks, very spacious inside and outside the chalet, kitchen had provided cooking utensils, the peace and quiet surrounded by nothing but outback bushland/rainforest. Very private from other chalets and reception. Polite owners. Friendly dogs. Outdoor seating area, both under cover and on the upstairs veranda. Outdoor firepit. Great view of the glass house mountains, on the drive up to reception.

Negative: The driveway is a little scary to drive on, but the chalet is more than worth driving up the gravel/cement drive.
