Positive: The inside/grounds of the hotel were like a mini sanctuary, everything was incredibly clean. The staff were very friendly and accommodating and the host was great and went the extra mile to help you even down to driving us and helping is get on the ferry. Very good value for money and great place to stay waiting for the ferry to the Gili Islands. There’s a hidden white sandy beach a 15 minute “hike” away, very secluded but beautiful just don’t wear flip flops on the walk there!

Negative: Only slight issue was initially locating the homestay as its not accessible via car, so a short walk from the main road. But after finding, no issues.

Summary: Very friendly staff, very accommodating, very clean. Great place to stay.

Negative: The bathroom was not great, no space to put our bathroom things on, a shelf could be really handy 🙂. No hot water and random shower pressure.

Summary: Clean and correct but dysfunctional bathroom so pretty expensive for what it actually is.

Positive: I had the pleasure of spending 2 nights at Green Merta. The host Kadek went above and beyond to ensure i had a great visit in Padangbai. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Generous and tasty breakfast of omelet, fruits and coffee. I enjoyed everything about my stay here and would gladly stay here again.

Positive: The host, Kadek, is exceptional and made it a memorable experience. He helped pick us up from the airport and gave us advice about Bali. In addition, Kadek speaks English, German, Spanish, French, Indonesian Language (as well as Balinese) and a bit of Japanese - so he can welcome many guests. Apart from that, the rooms are very generously sized and are well-priced.
