Positive: Amazing Palace, very nicely decorated. Very chic and elegant. IImmaculate cleanliness. Top location right on Green Lake. Comfortable bed. Super friendly staff. Great Breakfast. Moka pot in the room for great coffee.

Negative: Nothing! Everything was top notch.

Positive: Very well located, in the day and a half we had in Kunming we were able to see lots of interesting places on foot. The room was comfortable, the breakfast was varied and good, and the staff were incredibly helpful when I needed assistance communicating with Guangzhou airport about a jacket I forgot there at security.

Negative: The style is quite old fashioned and a bit tired. Lots of gold everywhere, aesthetics a bit Trumpian.

Summary: A reasonably priced, well located, hassle free stay.

Positive: I like Green Lake hotel. The decoration of our room is antique and elegant. The facilities are so amazing. I was blown away by the TV next to the tube and the monitor of the outside. The shower and tube were both great. I also like the body cleanser and body lotion. They smell pleasant. Breakfast is nothing short of extraordinary. So many options for food, and the kitchen is well-organized. The location is also inside the best part of Kunming. We had a nice walk outside the hotel and enjoyed the coffee shop nearby. We had a lot of fun and made the best choice to stay here.

Negative: Nothing.

Summary: This elegant hotel is the best choice for a holiday in downtown Kunming.

Positive: Had a really great stay at this hotel. Everything about it was top notch- room was pristine, lovely view, and every single member of the staff was professional (but also really welcoming which I find more important). I especially want to mention Jacky. After we’d already checked out, we realised we’d left something valuable behind in the room. Jacky went out of his way to personally help us find it, turned out it had slipped down that space between the bed and the side table. Could have been a stressful situation, but Jacky made it simple and was very reassuring. He was also incredibly helpful with travel suggestions, and gave us some practical advice which meant we've moved around a lot more easily during this trip. His recommendations have genuinely improved our plans. Overall, this was a great experience, and Jacky in particular has made a lasting impression. We're absolutely going to stay here next time we're in kunming and would recommend this hotel without hesitation. Thank you 翠湖宾馆 and 张先生！
