Summary: Really good view of the city as we stayed on the 43rd floor in the tallest building in the city. Breakfast buffet that was included was very nice. However, dinner in one of the restaurants was very overpriced and the food was only so so. Would not eat in the hotel next time.

Summary: An excellent stay at Sofitel Kunming. The services are awesome & my room is very clean. A very convenient location as well. Their staff, Jessica is a very outstanding person. She helped me booked my roundtrip train tickets from Kunming to Dali. And more. She is a very responsible & helpful individual. I'd like to give her a 5 Stars out of 5 for her remarkable service as well. I really appreciate everything that she has done. I will stay in Sofitel Kunming again in the future when I'm back.

Summary: There are many details of this hotel that we find exceptional. First of all, the elevators offer indication as to which one is approaching your floor for the up or down direction you want to go to and they are very quiet. Secondly, they have all the in-suite accessories that you can think of, from full sets of chinaware, glassware and cutlery to complete set of stationary. For a bonus, our 270 degree view suite offers great night view of the city. Last but not least, staff we have encountered, from restaurants to the front desk, are all highly courteous and professional.
