Fantastic Lake Keowee Location! Located on the south end of the lake, close to Seneca. Just 2-3 miles from grocery shopping, restaurants, pharmacy, and the hospital. By boat, we are five minutes from the Lake Keowee Marina that has gas docks, a boat rental facility and the popular Tiki Hut restaurant & bar. Short walking distance to great county park with public boat ramps, lighted pickleball and tennis courts, playground, campground, hiking trail. and lakeside store (selling snacks & local items). Clemson University is only 15 minutes away, making this the ideal lake home for Tiger Football Fans!
One of the property's most unique features is the very large, nearly flat grass lawn that leads down to a private sand beach. There is lots of room to play touch football, frisbee, croquet, etc. ***A brand new stone patio has been added to complement the lake side of the home.*** The patio is large with low walls suitable for seating with a gas fire pit incorporated into the design. A new propane gas grill is also located at the edge of the patio. The upper deck has been improved with new composite decking. The lower deck is dry and features overhead dimmable lighting and ceiling fans overlooking the new stone patio/fire pit area, a beautifully landscaped yard and a Gazebo/deck area located right at the lake's edge. We have a covered aluminum boat dock large enough for you to dock one or two boats.
Whether you are in the open living room area, sitting at the table or breakfast bar in the full newly remodeled kitchen, you can enjoy a fantastic view of the lake. Off the kitchen there is a large dining table that seats up to 10 people for family dinners. The living area features ample seating and a large 52" flatscreen TV. Free Wi-Fi is provided. The Master/California King Bedroom and private en suite bathroom is located on the main floor boasting an incredible view of the lake and a large flat screen TV. A second Guest Room/Queen bedroom and full bathroom is also located on the main level.
On the lower level there are two additional bedrooms with enough sleeping options for up to 8 people and another full Bathroom. There is a large Den/Entertainment room with 52" TV/DVD/ Games located on the lower level for additional gathering space!
Another convenient feature of the house is the lower level refreshment room with full size refrigerator for storing all your cold beverages and snacks. It is a great place to fill your coolers and picnic baskets.

Summary: We visited SC to attend a football game at Clemson University. The property was well maintained and the host was accessible and responsive when we reached out to him. Doug does a great job communicating before the planned visit and is readily available if there are any questions / issues during the visit. I would recommend his house to friends and family.

Summary: Let me start by saying that the photos do not do justice to the beautiful yard and outdoor space! We spent a majority of our time on the patio, beach area with fire pit, or on the couch right next to the dock. We stayed 4 nights with my parents, my family of four and my sister's family of 4; there was ample seating for all of us to enjoy the beautiful views and eat meals outside. Inside: The kitchen is extremely well stocked with everything you need for your stay. We ate meals at the house and also prepared tailgate food for the Clemson game and had more than what we needed! The beds were all very comfortable and my kids loved the bunk beds downstairs! Plenty of pillows, blankets and towels for everyone. The location was also fantastic - only a ten minute drive into Clemson. The only very small hiccup was that the owners were having problems with the keyless entry on the front door. I'm sure they've resolved this by now! It was easy to get in touch with them and figure out an alternative way into the house. We had a wonderful stay and home to make this a tradition for years to come!

Summary: My family and I had a wonderful time at Doug’s lake house, the amenities and the location were perfect for an an extended weekend on Lake Keowee. We took full advantage of the beautiful backyard and the kids really enjoyed using the kayaks on the lake. The layout of the kitchen and deck was very convenient for my family, the well lit patio made it easy for our group to walk back and forth from the fire pit to the house. I would highly recommend this property to friends and family. -Lenny

Summary: This is now one of our favorite vacation homes on Lake Keowee, which is a powerful statement considering we typically host out of state family/friends there 3-4x per yr for the past 18 years! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The yard, landscaping, patio, & deck area are simply perfect for those groups who enjoy el fresco dining, yardgames, & fireside smores. The dock area is the icing on the cake with a covered comfy seating area complete w a fan & a firepit table. Our gp of all adults spent 1 day kayaking, floating off the dock, & competing in yard olympics (badminton, cornhole, bocce, kuub, & croquet). The following days we boated. The house location is wonderful. Quiet cul de sac in a non busy, off main channel of lake. We typically are North end lakers but were pleasantly surprised in this hidden gem south end location that offers both convenience & non busy boating for safe & enjoyable dock floating. The home itself is completely updated & has a fantastic layout with lg bedrooms, multiple sep common spaces & a very well stocked kitchen with everything one needs to host a larger gathering of folks. The beds are comfortable. As a gp of 50 yr olds who were physically active for several consecutive days, we didnt awake to sore backs, a testament to the beds. The property offers an element of privacy & a gentle slope easy walk to dock ...often a rarity on Keowee. Doug was wonderful to work with. He communicated promptly & went above & beyond to accommodate our needs.

Summary: We have stayed at many places on Lake Keowee .. This was the best-location for convenience , grounds , house , access to lake were all the best ! all around a lovely home .. would highly recommend it to anyone .

Summary: The entire stay was great. Doug was great to work with and responded to all of our inquires very quickly. I would not hesitate to stay at this home again. Plenty of room both inside and outside of the home to hang around in. The dock is great to bring a boat to and also a great place to sit and enjoy the views.

Summary: The house itself was beautiful! The proximity to the lake was also great. I love that they had a paved path instead of stairs which were easier on my knees as well as for my 2 year old grandson and pregnant daughter. The fire pit was great for unwinding together after dark. We had a blast!

Summary: Doug was very responsive with all communications and the property was ideal for our multi-generational family. The flat yard was great for frisbee and football tossing, the fire pit and patio was a scenic perch for grandparents to see the kids playing but not be in the crossfire, and the gazebo by the water was great for some shade and comfortable seating while the children played on the dock and in the water. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything we might have wanted. Kayaks and floats in the garage as well as the pool table weee enjoyed by our crew. Great spot!
